History of the kingdom of Sikka

In the 1600s the Portuguese founded the kingdoms of Sikka in Natar Sikka  and the kingdom of Nita in the region Hoak Hewe Nita. So, since the 1600s Nuhan Ular Tana Loran was divided in 3 regions, namely the traditional kingdom of KangaE Aradae, and 2 kingdoms as portugese colonies, the kingdoms of Sikka and Nita.
In 1917 Sikka became a Landschap, by decision of the dutch government, Korte Verklaring 06 Juni 1917 No.38. With as king:  (bestuurder): Don Josephus da Silva alias Non (sic) Meak.

Palace: Lepo Gete

Lepo Gete became the royal palace of Sikka and the center of Sikka royal government in a vulnerable time, especially during the colonial period of the XVI century and the XVII century. Lepo Gete was once a cultural contact center between the local Sikka population in general and foreigners.
