The kingdom of Nita was located on the island of Flores. District of Sikka. Founded in the 17th century by the Portugese.

History of the kingdom of Nita
In the 1600s the Portuguese founded the kingdoms of Sikka in Natar Sikka and the kingdom of Nita in the region Hoak Hewe Nita. So, since the 1600s Nuhan Ular Tana Loran was divided in 3 regions, namely the traditional kingdom of KangaE Aradae, and 2 kingdoms as portugese colonies, the kingdoms of Sikka and Nita.
In 1917 Nita became a Landschap, by decision of the dutch government, Korte Verklaring, 17 Agustus 1911 No. 18.

Not far from Ledalero is the heritage sites of Nita Kingdom, 12 km from Maumere Town. The Nita Kingdom Regalia shows evidence and witnesses to the history of Nita Kingdom. Regalia such as royalty nita clothing, there is also a large elephant ivory and long, good ikat motifs and traditional ceremonies and dances.
