History of ancient Kingdom of Tidung: 1076 – 1551
There was an ancient kingdom of Tidung, from circa 1076-1156. Then it moved to the west of the island of Tarakan in the area of Tanjung Batu, approximately in the year 1156-1216.
Later it shifted again, but still located at the western coastal area, approximately in the year 1216-1394. And then it moved again, relatively far from the island of Tarakan, to the area of west Pimping western and Tanah Kuning, circa 1394-1557.
