Kerajaan Negara Daha was the forerunner of the Kesultanan Banjar.

History of the kingdom

The kingdom of Negara Daha was a Hindu kingdom (ShivaBuddha) that once existed in South Kalimantan at the time also of the kingdom of Giri Kedaton. Negara Daha was the predecessor of the Sultanate of Banjar. Central government / royal capital was in Muhara Hulak, known as Kota Negara (now kecamatan Daha Selatan, Hulu Sungai Selatan), while the trading port was moved from the old port of the kingdom of Dipa, Muara Rampiau (now village Marampiau) to the new port at Bandar Muara Bahan materials (now city Marabahan, Barito Kuala).

* 1448-1486: Raden Sakar Sungsang/Raden Sari Kaburungan/Ki Mas Lalana with the title Maharaja Sari Kaburungan or Panji Agung Rama Nata son of Putri Kalungsu/Putri Kabu Waringin, last queen of Negara Dipa,
* 1486-1525: Raden Sukarama with the title Maharaja Sukarama, kakek dari Sultan Suriansyah (Sultan Banjar I),
* 1525: Raden Paksa with the title Pangeran Mangkubumi, later got the title Maharaja Mangkubumi,
* 1525-1526: Raden Panjang with the title Pangeran Tumenggung.
