History of the kingdom of Samaskuta, 5th century.
The kingdom of Samaskuta was a kingdom in West Sumatra, precisely near Lake Singkarak today. Not yet is known more about the beginning of this kingdom. However, this kingdom is known to have existed before the eruption of Krakatau in the 5th century. In the Pararaton is mentioned the name of the king, who ruled in the Kingdom of Samaskuta in 416, it was King Sangkala.
