KINGDOM OF TAROWANG
History of the kingdom
In ancient times Jeneponto was a great local kingdom, an independent kingdom and had power over several kingdoms, among others, Arungkeke, Binamu, Tarowang and Bangkala
The Kingdom of Arungkeke, Tarowang, and Bangkala, all three were autonomous kingdoms parallel to the Binamu kingdom in Butta Turatea. They did not supervise each other but still interacted and shared each other because of the similarities of language, culture, traditions, and customs to each other.
