History of the kingdom

Nansarunai kingdom was the kingdom that united the Maanyan people between 1309-1389. Nansarunai kingdom came twice under attack of the Javanese kingdom Majapahit, which was called in Maanyan language Java Usak. These events were preserved in the form of poems in the Maanyan language.
After these attacks, the Nansarunai community (tribe ancient Maanyan) split up into several areas in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.
The year 1309 is the year of the coronation of Raden Japutra Layar.
From charcoal tests of the remains of the Candi Agung,  it is known, that this temple was built in 242- 226 BC.
The kings genealogy is not known for sure, there are only a few names of kings of Nan Sarunai.
